Ewers completed 24 of 36 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns as the Longhorns snapped the Wolverines’ 16-game winning streak.
The Longhorns’ defense proved tough to beat as they forced three turnovers and held the Wolverines to just two field goals and a touchdown, which came late in the fourth quarter when it was too little, too late.
Michigan QB Davis Warren was 22-of-33 for 204 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. Preseason All-America tight end Colston Loveland had eight receptions for 70 yards in the loss.
