“That wasn’t good,” Cooper said on-air.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper was hit by flying debris while reporting on-air during Hurricane Milton in Bradenton, Florida.

“Woah!” Cooper said as he was hit with the debris. “OK, that wasn’t good. We’ll probably go inside shortly.”

Hurricane Milton made landfall as a Category 3 storm Wednesday night in Siesta Key, causing at least four deaths, according to the AP.

The hurricane has caused immense destruction across Florida, including serious damage to Tropicana Field’s roof.

Following Cooper’s incident, Kaitlan Collins assured viewers that Cooper and CNN’s other correspondents covering the hurricane were safe.

“Anderson is OK,” she said.
